::The Last Epoch-"11"::Destiny
The next thing I know, I open my eyes feeling a prick of a needle being extracted from under my skin. I spasmodically sat up and hit my head on the nurse. She was leaning over my bed, taking out the needle. I lay back down in pain. After everything stops spinning, I sit back up and the nurse is leaving the room rubbing her forehead.
Sorry! Wait! Where am? I stop calling to the nurse because I notice all my things are gone. All I have on are my boxers. My belongings are gone. What the hell!? I whispered to my self in anguish. I stood up and fell flat on my back. I must still be a little dizzy, I said sitting up rubbing my head. I stood up determined to get some answers. I ran out of my room in my underwear through the wall illusion and into the main room. Where am I! Where is everyone else! What are these, walking blenders!? I yelled running across the main room up to an android. Whats with all the white!? Could
::The Last Epoch-"10"::Column City of Light
As we dropped at an incredible speed, I witnessed the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. We entered the light and saw an unbelievably large underground cavern. Wow, all six of us said in unison and in shock. But the Cavern had a most peculiar feature that gathered most our vision. In the center of the cavern stood an unimaginably tall natural stone column that glowed with the all the lights of a city. The elevator was close enough to see what it was. An entire city built on the spiral shelves that twisted around and inside the hollow body of the rock. This magnificent structure seemed to have a column of light engulfing the core of its magnitude. This foreign beautiful world seemed to have a suspicious unknown.
Our destination was not to be the column itself but to be the outskirts of the city that seem to run off onto the floor of the cavern. Off to the left there seemed to be stream of white light coming from a deep of the cavern floor. This

I was awakened up by Gig tapping on my face. Rise and shine, Commander, he said. Where are we? Where is everyone? Did we find help? I panicked as I sat up. We were washed up into a cove and have set up camp here. The guys went out for firewood with Adrianne. Doc and myself are making dinner. Have we tried the satellite phones? Yeah theres nothing but static. Damn it, where are we!? I asked confused. The guys should be back any minute, Gig said.
Entering the cave at nightfall, Axel exclaimed frustrated. Nothing, there is no wood left on this wretched island! Yeah, just dirt and this dry, dead grass. This should kindle a fire to cook our dinner, but itll never last through the night. Adrianne said carrying a brown heap of grass.
We put all of the grass we could find into a pretty impressive fire where we cooked a can of beans and corn. It was del
::The Last Epoch-"8"::Hope
We had been floating on the ocean for what I think had been three days and we had lost all signs of hope. We have survived off of the rations we brought in out survival packs. Nearly all electronics were ineffective including satellite phones and G.P.S.
Look, an island! Solo hollered hoarsely. We had finally found salvation! Everyone fatigued by the sun, which seemed to burn with the intensity of hell. Everyone get some rest, well need it when we arrive, I said. It wasnt your fault man. He decided to stay. You will be a great leader. Assured Axel.
We were at least a day from arriving at the island. It looked as if it was just a mountaintop emerging from the ocean.
As everyone fell asleep, I drifted between sleep and consciousness. I was overcome by exhaustion. Rudely awakened by a rubbing on the raft behind my head, I peer over to see my own reflection. My dark eyes and unshaven face seemed to be dirty and dull with sleepiness

Were coming in too hot! I cant control her! Oh my god! Guys, has anybody noticed anything different about home, Commander Ryan screamed strapping himself in. This isnt home, this cant be, Solo said. What are we aiming for, there are no continents! Were headed for nothing but scattered islands. Dont worry about that, now lets just focus on landing this thing. What if this place isnt inhabitable! What if we NEVER FIND HOME? FOCUS! Axel Yelled as we crashed down at 210 Miles per minute. We mustve been shot through space and time by that worm-thing, Axel yelled not noticing our increasing speed.
The dark ocean seemed to magnify with every passing second. We headed completely vertically until we could gain some handle on our steering. The thrusters were empty and we were able to pull the nose up horizont
::The Last Epoch-"5"::Technical Malfunction
Startled, I am awakened by a large robot is looking down on me and tapping on the transparent of my cryogenic bed. Theres a problem David, alerted Goliath as my bed opened.
What is it, I asked, sitting up and rubbed a ton of sleep from my eyes. I-I-I does not feel well, Doc. Secondary functions shutting down, shuddered Goliath to Dr. McAllister. We arent supposed to be awake for another week according to my watch, Dr. McAllister reported ignoring Goliath. What not enough beauty-sleep for ya, Doc, laughed Gig. The ship left its peaceful floating and began to vibrate.
What time does the ship say? Adrianne asked. All the computers are frozen, Said Doc. What?!
I couldnt believe this. All these things gone wrong so suddenly. Goliath, how long has this been like this? Axel asked. No reply. We all nervously peered behind us at Goliath. He w

Once we got out of the two-day orbit around the earth, we set up Goliath in autopilot mode. We headed off on the three-year voyage for Mars. With goliath running off of his nuclear-powered battery, he could go forever. The first manned mission was going perfectly so far. In exception of course for the mistake that nearly postponed the trip, but that was deemed a technical malfunction.
We all put on glowing headbands known as a halo used to monitor our vital signs. Okay, this is the cold part guys, I hate these ice boxes, Solo commented putting on his halo. Paul was his real name, but we call him Solo because of his days in Special Marines. If you ask me, they are scary, replied Gig. They dont bother me too much, I added. Yeah, but if you stayed awake for three-years on this ship, youd go completely insane. Hallucinations and everything, Doc said. That would suck.
::The Last Epoch-"2"::Goliath
As crewmate Adrianne and I treaded the ship on our way to her lab she asked, You know that we probably wont find any hostile life there? Yeah, I know that. I laughed. Than why the heck did you design it in the first place, queried Adrianne. Because I am supposed to have my Titan Droid Commission finished for NASA. I cant afford to lose three years on this project; its a big deal, big money. Besides, I know you are the best weapons engineer for the job, we entered her lab with a scent of oil and burning rubber. Yeah, she smirked.
She approached the project, it was a red, ball shaped, device in the middle of her lab. As she walked up to it, I noticed the sheer scale of it. She wasnt a small woman, and the top of the device was about eyelevel. I thought the name goliath was fitting. It looked like the sphere was glowing then it started folding out into a 15ft. humanoid figure. Ju

Check, ready for countdown Houston. Buckle up chili peppers, he warned us. Commander Ryan had flown many missions in past wars. I assume this is why he was chosen to take our ships lead. . . . Three, two, one, reported Houston, light em up. Our Craft started to shake violently and a loud explosion expanded through our attention. The political atmospheres of this venture were at thick and the state of peace was fragile.
We had been training for about four years and this trip is such an enormous stride in history. I had flown a few times in the past on a lunar vacation and to space depots but never on a government funded mission. It seems so long since the man in the black suit showed up at my home recruiting me for the first mission to Mars. The red planet, I thought, its nerve-racking . . .
The crew was so excited and anxious to finally get a chance
